So when I heard about all the hurricanes that were happening down in Texas and then Florida, my heart broke for those communities. Being a musician and having the platform that I have I knew right away I wanted to do something, I have been gifted with the ability to do music and this was one way I thought I could give back. Two years ago, I was honored to perform alongside the incredible, Kandis Gumbs. We did a version of "Flashlight" and earlier this year, a incredible musician and producer shared with me a studio version of our live performance. I really fell in love with this because this is an incredible song by Jessie J.

When I heard about all that happened with Hurricane Irma, Kandis, who I got to share the stage with that evening told me about how her and her family down in St. Thomas were effected by the hurricane. She started a GoFundMe to raise money for her hometown (St. Thomas). So here is what I am saying about this single. This song to me is an inspiring one and I was very fortunate to get to do it. Any proceeds made from this single, will be donated to this St. Thomas Relief Fund. Now I also encourage you if you don't feel like supporting this fun, go and find one that you will support. So many people are coming together in this series of unfortunate events and it is a beautiful to see a country coming together. I also encourage you to check out the GoFundMe page and donate directly if you don't want to donate through this single. Just be prayer for the people effected by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey and if you feel called, please give what you can. Because like I said 100% of the proceeds from this single will be donated straight to the St. Thomas Relief Fund.
